Hearing Services Program


The Hearing Services Program, managed by the Australian Federal Government, provides fully subsidized /free hearing tests and hearing aids* for pensioners and veterans. All hearing health care professionals at  Australian Audiology Services are accredited providers under this Program. Call us today to find out more!

Vouchers


The following are eligible for a voucher if they are an Australian citizen or permanent resident 26 years or older

 

  • Pensioner Concession Card holder.
  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold Card holder.
  • Department of Veterans’ Affairs White Card holder issued for specific conditions that include hearing loss.
  • Dependent of a person in one of the above categories.
  • Currently serving member of the Australian Defence Force.
  • Referred by the Disability Employment Services Program.
  • NDIS participant with hearing needs, referred by a planner from the National Disability Insurance Agency.

Benefits of the Program


Most services and hearing aids under the program are free/ fully subsidized. There may also be situations where you will be asked to pay additional costs:

  • “Top-up” devices: Clients may contribute to the cost of more advanced hearing aids.
  • Annual Maintenance Contract: Service, repairs, and batteries are provided with an optional annual maintenance fee as per the Hearing Services Program. (NB: Clients may be required to contribute a nominal fee for repairs on "Top-up" devices).
  • Replacement for loss or damage.* 


 

Relocate to Australian Audiology Services


You are not stuck with your current provider. Australian Audiology Services are always seeing new clients who wish to relocate to us for a number of reasons.  The reasons could include:

 

  • A breakdown in trust with their hearing care provider (are they independent?)
  • More convenient to come to our clinics for reasons of transport
  • You wish to receive all of your hearing care needs in one place, such as earwax removal.
  • Or a host of other reasons

If you have a current Annual Maintenance Contract, we will provide you with a free* earwax removal appointment when you relocate to us (valued at over $120!). Call us today and we will help you make the change.
