Hearing Aids Return Policy

At Australian Audiology Services Pty Ltd (Trading as Australian Audiology Hearing Specialists), we strive to provide exceptional service and products to all our clients. As per Fair Trading QLD laws, we have established the following returns policy for hearing aids purchased from us:

1.0 - Refund Policy

  • We offer a refund for any hearing aid purchased from us within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date.
  • This refund policy applies to all reasons for return, including change of mind.

2.0 - Fitting Fee

  • For clients who return their hearing aids and are not Centrelink pension card holders, a non-refundable fitting fee of $610.40 will be applicable.
  • This fee is charged to cover the costs associated with the fitting process and professional services provided.

3.0 - Conditions for Returns

  • Hearing aids must not appear worn or soiled. They must be returned in their original condition, with all packaging and accessories included.
  • Clients are required to return the hearing aids by hand and not via post or courier.

4.0 - Right to Refuse Returns

Australian Audiology Services Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse a return if the hearing aids are found to be soiled, damaged, or broken upon inspection; or should any accessory or parts be missing.

5.0 - Manufacturer's Warranty

  • All hearing aids purchased from Australian Audiology are covered by the stipulated manufacturer's warranty.
  • Any issues covered under the manufacturer's warranty will be addressed according to the terms and conditions specified by the manufacturer.
